  2. What happened to your home page? I do not understand it? I see stummble it and all sorts of things, no pictures……I am confused. Can you help shed some light on your new setup? Thank you!

  5. Hi! I stumbled upon your blog while searching frantically for a half- remembered poem from school days which had the words ‘flamingo sunset’. Couldn’t find the poem but was glad to find your blog with all its poetry 🙂 Being in the medical field and having not expressed myself artistically for years, I frequently experience situations when I’m unable to find the right word to express what I’m thinking. However, I do agree that I should be persistent at improving the quality of my conversations and not “dumb down”! Loved your blog! It was so refreshing :)Thank you!

    • – Hi Margaret,I’ve just found your blog, and am incredibly glad you’re based in the US as my perfect (and now a very good friend) wedding photographer would have been given a run for her money.Your images are phenomenally beautiful and so deep and cutting. To see your words back this up as in this post shows true honesty, not just the ability to “create” it in your art. This is the kind of issue that so many people in this industry seem to struggle with, and yet it’s so hard to say it aloud when clients (past, present and future) may be watching. Yet if we (clients) think we can box up someone who’s producing effectively artwork for us, I think we’ve missed the point!Selecting a photographer who shoots the kind of images you want is ESSENTIAL – not selecting a photographer and then wanting them to conform to your ideas/views. That’s only going to cause disappointment (and Sara, this isn’t your battle, nor should it be fought in public).

  8. Your blog is hysterical and really helpful when I need that extra bit of humour and wackiness to get through the day. As I do.

  9. Greetings fellow Aussie Baby Boomer. 🙂 Thanks for popping over to mine. I like what I see, I shall follow thee. I’m from Melbourne and just a few more years ahead of you, but my brain tells me I’m still 30. 🙂

  10. I’m a horrible dancer. Just thought I should get that out there right away. Secondly, I love your site. Clever, witty and always right… Probably should’ve led with that. But as I said, I’m a horrible dancer. Looking forward to following you into the New Year!
